Interesting spread. With homes like this, I often feel like the grandeur of the house is diminished a bit by the lack of an entrance befitting a grand home. It appears that the front entryway is obscured within that less-than-grand courtyard/motor court. I've seen quite a few celebrity homes designed like this... While it is probably good for privacy, I think it creates a "compound" feel and obscures the beauty of the home a little. But I guess it's hard to say, conclusively, from this overhead view.
